Interior Designer

Sheffield Furniture and Interiors is looking for a passionate and sales-oriented interior designer to join our team. Our designers partner with clients and go the extra mile to help them create the beautiful home they've always wanted. This will involve making in-home visits and design presentations including floorplans, sketches, coordinating fabrics, paint colors, and floor covering selections. Designers are also expected to close sales, register prospects, and be active on social media. Do you thrive in an environment of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and excellence? Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in sales and/or interior design
• Advanced knowledge of interiors and design concepts, practices, and methods
• High level of creativity, innovative thinking, and problem solving
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal, listening and written; including client presentation skills
• Collaborative and professional work ethic

• Constantly learning about design trends by studying back and current issues of magazines such as Architectural Digest, Veranda and Met Home.
• Interested in using social media to showcase design expertise
• Understands the importance of maximizing sales opportunities
• Enjoys working on a team of inspired and talented individuals
• Self-starter with a positive attitude
• Knows how to develop long-term relationships with clients
